Here at Manor Primary, we are keen to ensure that the voices of parents/carers are heard and that parents/carers feel they can help shape the way our school supports and challenges our wonderful children.
Manor Primary is part of Manor Multi Academy Trust and the Directors of the Trust are keen to ensure that the local governance model is fit-for-purpose, and that it encourages parents/carers to have the confidence to put forward their views in a truly collaborative way.
With effect from 1st September 2023, our School will operate a Parent and Community Advisory Forum (PCAF). The forum will consist of up to eight core representatives, with a minimum of two being elected parents/carers of current children in school. Other PCAF representatives will be from the local community and/or will have particular skills and experience to bring to the Forum depending on needs and priorities.
Following PCAF meetings, we will produce a “You said, we did” report on a termly basis which will be shared with all parents/carers, thus enabling parents/cares to more effectively hold us to account.
Directors of Manor MAT will continue to hold our school to account as well and further information about their work is available on the Manor MAT website. Our Chair of Governors is the Chair of the Trust.
The Directors of Manor MAT have agreed to appoint the following Directors as School Advocates for our school:
D Coles and M Sharif – School Advocate for Support and Challenge
H Smith – School Advocate for SEND
A Pritchard – School Advocate for Safeguarding
Financial Information and Manor Multi-Academy Director information can be found on our Academy Trust website here.
